Reset
Stephan Hürlemann, 2026
Built in a moment, always ready
Reset is assembled quickly and intuitively, as simple as building blocks. Each configuration uses just three elements: one panel and two base units. As needs change, structures can be dismantled, remodelled and stored compactly, or even sold, offering far more flexibility than fixed installations.
Sustainability is built in too. Durable, reusable and resource-efficient, Reset is made from robust materials – elegant MDF or modern OSB – that can be recycled or repurposed at the end of their life cycle, including the folding V-Foam seat cushions. Connecting elements ensure safety while giving visual definition and order. Reset is a system that grows and adapts, responsibly using resources every step of the way.

Room for ideas
Designer Stephan Hürlemann creates space to play
What is your vision as a designer?
I see design as a tool to influence change. In a time of major ecological crises, we need to switch from a linear mindset to a circular economic model. This means developing products that are long-lasting and easy to repair or disassemble. Design should protect the environment and serve its users.
What is the idea behind the design of Reset?
It's all about the topography of the interior. Most floors are flat, so I wanted to introduce a three-dimensional landscape and use height as a new design element. The result is a kit for functional interior sculptures that users can inhabit and make their own. The components can be stacked, placed next to each other and then dismantled again. In this way, spaces can be constantly redesigned in a playful way, depending on changing requirements.
What problem does Reset solve?
Almost every organisation has spaces that are unused...
Choose what you need in any space
Reset activates unused areas, making them productive and flexible. Whether in dead corners, in-between zones or open spaces, this functional new typology provides structure with or without power connections. Platforms and folding cushions create areas for dialogue, quiet retreat or presentations, right where they are needed. The intended purpose guides their use, which can be adapted at any time, turning every area into a place of added value.

Workspaces: adapt to every task
Flexible settings for workshops, meetings, project sessions and team hubs. Reset's customisable design makes it easy to reconfigure spaces on the fly, adapting instantly to different tasks, team sizes and activities. It's perfectly suited to energise corporate and public work environments.
In between areas: make space for interaction
The modular nature of Reset helps spark creativity and informal exchange in transitional areas. Ideal for coffee breaks, quick chats or spontaneous work, it turns underused corners into functional microenvironments in universities, conference centres and retail spaces.

Educational environments: room for learning
Reset adapts effortlessly to different teaching and training methods, supporting a variety of learning formats. Designed for public education facilities as well as corporate learning settings, it comes alive in spaces that foster exploration, collaboration and continuous development
